MFOI Awards 2023 Day 3: Union Minister Parshottam Rupala Honors Outstanding Farmers at Millionaire Farmer of India Awards
The Millionaire Farmer of India Awards not only acknowledged outstanding contributions but also served as a platform to inspire and propel the Indian agricultural sector towards a brighter and more sustainable future.
The prestigious Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023 ceremony witnessed the presence of Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, who graced the occasion as the chief guest on Friday i.e. 08th December.
The distinguished event celebrated the achievements of farmers who have excelled in their contributions to agriculture. Dr. Rajaram Tripathi was honored with the Millionaire Farmer of India Award (Male), while Rathnamma Gundamanttha received the Millionaire Farmer of India Award (Female). The recognition was not only symbolic but also included a remarkable reward—a free seven-day trip to Brazil, generously sponsored by the Brazilian Government through H.E. Ambassador Kenneth Nóbrega and facilitated by APEXBRASIL.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Rupala commended MC Dominic, Founder and editor-in-chief of Krishi Jagran, and Shiny Dominic, Managing Director, for their efforts in bringing together a diverse audience, including industrialists, farmers, policymakers, and foreign delegates. He applauded their initiative in shaping a new India through the Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI) platform.
Expressing his optimism about the future, Rupala welcomed esteemed dignitaries from India and abroad. He highlighted the transformative potential of Indian farmers, drawing parallels with the success stories of companies like Mahindra, emphasizing that a farmer might soon join such prestigious ranks.

Rupala echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to empower farmers, emphasizing that India, known as the food bowl of the world, must harness the latest agricultural technologies to motivate the upcoming generation. He underscored the importance of organic farming, technology, and government schemes in shaping India's agrarian economy.
"In this pivotal moment, India has the opportunity to transform the world with its agricultural prowess. The time is ripe to leverage organic farming, embrace technology, and implement visionary schemes," Rupala declared, concluding the session on an encouraging note. "This is the right time for our farmers to lead the way in building a prosperous and productive nation."
