In a video that went viral on social media on Monday, he can be seen crushing 200-300 quintals of onions under a tractor and then performing funerary rituals.
A farmer named Yogesh Sonawane from Dangsaundane village in Satana taluka, located in Nashik, Maharashtra, recently expressed his anger and frustration over the losses he incurred due to unseasonal rains.
In a video that went viral on social media on Monday, he can be seen crushing 200-300 quintals of onions under a tractor and then performing funerary rituals. According to Sonawane, the recent rains in several parts of Maharashtra have caused significant damage to the crops, and farmers are struggling to even get transportation costs, let alone a fair and reasonable price for their produce.

According to officials, heavy rainfall has resulted in harm to crops such as onions, grapes, pomegranates, mangoes, and vegetables in the district. The state government is currently conducting surveys to assess the extent of the losses, known as "panchnama," in order to provide aid to those impacted.
