VST Tillers Sales Fell 5% Year On Year- November Sales Report

Total sales of VST Tillers Tractors increased by 40.72% in November 2022, from 1,842 units sold in October 2022.

Total sales of VST Tillers Tractors fell 4.81% to 2,592 units in November 2022, down from 2,723 units in November 2021. Power tiller sales fell 8.17% to 2,045 units in November 2022, from 2,227 units in November 2021. Meanwhile, total tractor sales increased 10.28% to 547 units in November 2022, up from 496 in November 2021.

VST Tillers Tractors is a manufacturer of Power Tillers and Diesel Engines. The company's net profit fell 29.3% to Rs 22.74 crore in Q2 FY23, despite a 0.3% increase in net sales to Rs 234.15 crore. VST Tillers Tractors' stock rose 1.71% to Rs 2,430.10 on the BSE.

About the company  

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. is a subsidiary of the VST Group. The parent company VST & Sons founded VST tractors. VST tractors and their operation through the Bangalore division with a vision to enter the tractor industry. Because the tractor industry was saturated and there were already many manufacturers in the competition. VST tractors made their way into the tiller industry.

The parent company, VST tractors, promoted VST tractors and tillers. The VST Shakti tractor series was the first to leave the factory. This launch, however, did not result in the company's success. VST tractors later obtained an industrial license to manufacture Power tillers in Mysuru. The plant in Mysuru was built on 18.5 acres of land. VST tillers tractors LTD was founded in August 1968. With the expansion of the business and attempts to enter the market, VST tractors grew along with it. However, due to a drop in demand and increased debt, the company suffered massive losses from 1973 to 1977. Later, in the following years, the company was resurrected and saw tremendous success by exporting to African countries.
