Update On The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana In Chattisgarh

On the model of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the Kisan Kalyan Yojana was launched in Madhya Pradesh. The benefit provided to state farmers under this scheme is in addition to the amount provided under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana is being handled by the Chhattisgarh government in this episode. Farmers receive aid through this program. The amount due is deposited immediately into the farmers' bank accounts. Farmers stand to gain a lot from this. The Chhattisgarh government is now implementing the Kisan Minimum Income Scheme to help farmers earn more money. Farmers will benefit from this.
As previously stated, the Chhattisgarh government has implemented the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana at the state level in order to enhance farmer income. Farmers are given aid in purchasing under this program. According to media sources, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said this while encouraging crop production in the state under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, which provides Rs 10,000 per month for paddy, maize, and sugarcane crops based on acreage registered and bought in Kharif 2019. Amounts will be transferred directly into farmers' accounts via direct benefit transfer at an acre rate.
Every year, 18 lakh 75 thousand farmers in the state would benefit from the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The state government has set a separate provision of Rs 5700 crore for this.
This scheme was launched by the state government on the occasion of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's death anniversary.
The Bhupesh government started this scheme by delivering on its commitment to buy paddy from farmers at a support price of 2500 rupees. Following that, money will be given to paddy, maize, and sugarcane growers as a form of encouragement.
