Up to 80 percent subsidy will be available on agricultural equipment

75% of the country's population depends on agriculture. The farmer is the feeder of the land of the country. Farmers work day and night to produce grains. On the contrary, day by day the effect of rising inflation has started showing on agriculture. Agricultural equipment used for agricultural purposes has also become costly, poor farmer becomes unwilling to buy these equipment and is forced to adopt old methods and techniques for farming. The government has provided relief to the farmers by starting the 'Smam Yojana' in the year 2020 to solve this problem. Under the scheme, the government will provide subsidy of up to 80 percent for the purchase of agricultural equipment. It can also be understood in a better way like this, if any agricultural equipment is worth 100 rupees, then the government will give 80 rupees and the farmer will invest only 20 rupees.

• With the help of good equipment, the yield will also be good, the income of the farmers will increase.
• 50 to 80 percent subsidy will be provided for purchase of equipment.
• Only people belonging to SC, ST, OBC category will get the benefit of the scheme.
• Only after seeing the economic condition of the farmer, the government will provide them the benefit of this scheme.

Application Procedure

• The applicant has to click on the official website agrimachinery.nic.in.         
• Click on the registration option of the homepage.         
• The registration form will appear in front of you.         
• Fill all the information in the form and click on submit button.         
• After that the application will be completed.
