Under SMAE, ATMA Organizes a Week-Long Agricultural Mechanization Training For Young Farmers

To promote innovation and sustainability in agriculture, ATMA Niuland, under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Extension (SMAE), recently organized a week-long skill training program on farm mechanization. This program specifically targeted enthusiastic young individuals eager to contribute to the agricultural sector in Nagaland.
The training sessions were meticulously designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in utilizing modern machinery for efficient and sustainable farming practices. The overarching goal is to empower these aspiring farmers not only with skills but also to help them generate income through the adoption of advanced farming technologies.

Among the resource persons were Assistant Technical Managers Hitokali Jimo, Mlato, Kaiho Achumi, Aketoli Chophy, and experienced machine operator Shikaho Sumi.
