Telangana- Tribal Farmers Excel in Natural Farming Training in Anantapur

Recently farmers from Telangana received a training session in natural farming techniques from Aadarana Padi Panta Vyavasaya Kshetram, a natural farming and millet processing facility at Hampapuram. Thirty- six farmers were truly engaged and were given proper training for natural farming methods. According to reports, it's a three-day training session which would conclude this Sunday.

According to Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank Regional Manager Mohan Reddy, the farmers from Mannanur in Nagarkurnool district and Utnoor in Adilabad district, Telangana, have acquired practical knowledge in cultivating millet crops and implementing other lucrative natural farming techniques.
The Telangana Government, National Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Organisation (NIRDPR) approached Aadarana, one of the central government-recognized Non-Governmental Organisations that aids a significant number of farmers in millet production, to train tribal farmers.

According to Vishala Ferrer, Rural Development Trust Women Empowerment Director, Adarna has helped to uplift the living standards of farmers by improving their skills, helping them to gain income, and using resources including livestock and land resources. Authorities are fully focused and efforts are being made to provide regular training sessions to the farmers.

Sandhya, Telangana Tribal Welfare Department Deputy Director has accompanied the trainees and overseen the program. Several other training sessions are to be planned from June 11 to June 13.
Through its Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), the Telangana Tribal Welfare Department is actively promoting natural farming on a large scale, with a focus on training lead farmers who will subsequently impart their knowledge to fellow farmers.
