Telangana Chief Minister Initiates Swift Disbursement of 'Rythu Bandhu' Financial Aid to Farmers
The Chief Minister instructed officials to devise a comprehensive action plan for fulfilling the Congress party's pre-poll promise of waiving farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh. This move aligns with the government's commitment to easing the financial burden on farmers and fostering agricultural sustainability.
In a proactive move aimed at supporting the agricultural community, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to kickstart the disbursement process of financial aid to farmers under the 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme. The announcement was made during a comprehensive meeting with ministers and officials where Reddy discussed the Department of Agriculture's performance and the effective implementation of welfare programs for farmers.
Reddy emphasized the importance of promptly depositing financial aid into farmers' accounts without causing any inconvenience. The 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme, which has been a cornerstone of agricultural support in the region, aims to provide direct financial assistance to farmers.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed officials to devise a comprehensive action plan for fulfilling the Congress party's pre-poll promise of waiving farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh. In a notable development, the 'Praja Darbar' held at Jyoti Rao Phule Praja Bhavan, the Chief Minister's camp office and official residence, will now be renamed 'Praja Vani.' Scheduled to take place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm, 'Praja Vani' will provide a platform for citizens to voice their concerns and submit applications.
Reddy underscored the importance of ensuring a seamless experience for citizens attending 'Praja Vani.' To achieve this, he directed officials to organize separate queues for differently-abled individuals and women and to provide essential amenities such as clean drinking water.
