Recently Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has invested in Mumbai- based startup Kisankonnect. Shilpa Shetty Kundra who is fully committed to fitness has been propagating mindful thoughts of promoting a healthy body and mind has invested an undisclosed amount and has been contributing via essential fitness elements including "Fresh Food."
Kisankonnect, established in 2020, stands out in the agricultural e-commerce sector with its unique approach. Operating through a network of 5,000 members and village-level collection centers, the company sources agricultural produce directly from farmers. With a focus on convenience and quality, Kisankonnect efficiently delivers these products to consumers in Mumbai and Pune. What sets Kisankonnect apart is its advanced temperature-controlled supply chain and tech-enabled operations. This distinctive model sets them apart from other players in the market, such as Big-basket and Otipy, giving them a competitive edge in the agricultural e-commerce space.
