Polymatech Launches Ravaye, a Next-Generation Horticulture LED Grow Light

Polymatech Electronics, one of India's first semiconductor chip manufacturers specializing in Opto-semiconductors, has introduced new horticulture LED products, including Ravaye full-spectrum packages and modules, as well as monochromatic LEDs. These products, designed to provide enhanced greenhouse and vertical farming lighting for professional horticulture applications, set a new standard for faster and healthier plant growth, improved farming environments, and lower lighting system costs.

Full-spectrum light contains wavelengths ranging from Yellow to Green to Blue to Red, resulting in a light blend that promotes healthier plant growth by accelerating photosynthesis, strengthening plant immunity, and increasing nutritional value. Polymatech's Ravaye line includes a wide range of wavelength combinations to meet the diverse design needs of horticulture lighting manufacturers.

"Ravaye represents a new level of excellence in Polymatech products," said Eswara Rao Nandam, Founder and President of Polymatech Electronics, in response to the new product's launch. “Vertical farming, hydroponics, and horticulture applications will be transformed. Innovative use of LED lighting promotes nutritious plant growth while also lowering a farmer's lighting system costs, increasing profitability in a variety of ways. We used to specialize in Opto-semiconductors, but we've since expanded into farming lighting, which provides full-spectrum solutions for crop needs."

Nandam added that with this new cutting-edge technology, the dream of ‘farmer everyone AND farming everywhere’ is not far away.

According to Fortune Business Insights, the global horticulture lighting market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 18.1% from 6.19 billion dollars in 2022 to 19.87 billion dollars by 2029. Key global players are planning to launch advanced technology-based indoor lighting through partnerships and collaborations to support this explosive growth. Polymatech's Ravaye LED packages are now in mass production for lighting manufacturers and growers around the world, with modules expected to be available in March 2023.

Eswara Rao Nandam, the founding president of Polymatech, also commented on a different development: "It gives me great pleasure to reveal that our COB chips and developed high-power light fixtures have obtained certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). In an attempt to provide lighting and safety measures, these products can be used in crossroads, stadiums, seaports, bus terminals, stations, and filming locations. We are the only 100% Made in India light fixture company that provides an absolute replacement for up to three years if there is no physical damage, made possible by Polymatech's cutting-edge technology.”
