PedalStart to Launch AGCUBATOR-An Initiative to Support Agritech Startups

A Gurugram-based startup PedalStart and a hybrid model of incubators and accelerators are launching Agcuabtor, an initiative for agritech startups. This program is designed specifically for agritech domain startups from around the world to bring them under one platform. This will support startups and help them develop and grow in the ecosystem.

A Gurugram-based startup PedalStart and a hybrid model of incubators and accelerators are launching Agcuabtor, an initiative for agritech startups. This program is designed specifically for agritech domain startups from around the world to bring them under one platform. This will support startups and help them develop and grow in the ecosystem.

The Agcubator will provide selected startups with mentorship from notable experts from the domain. The cohort brings some of the brightest minds in agriculture and technology together to drive innovation and growth in the farming sector.

The onboard mentors who will bestow the startups with their experiences and support are Nitin Jain, Co-Founder & CEO of Of’Business, Sanjay Sacheti, Country Head- of India of Olam Agri, Varun Khurana, Founder & CEO of Otipy, Vamsi Udayagiri, Founder & CEO of Hesa.  The Agritech expert and angel investor, Ramakrishnan M would be joining the cohort as Programme Lead and will enlighten the others in this 6-week cohort.

Co-Founder of PedalStart, Manas Pal, said, “After the success of our previous cohort, Zero-to-One, which was a cohort structured for early-stage startups from different domains, now we are ready to launch another cohort, Agcubator, a platform to support agritech startup industry. The cohort will be a platform for startups to revolutionize their journey in the shadow of domain experts. We are looking forward to onboarding startups from the domain to seed and accelerating their journey.”

After undergoing a thorough 3-stage screening process, 20 startups will embark on a 6-week journey with Agcubator. The screening process will begin with registering on the waiting list, next followed by a review of the application, and lastly, a connection with the analysts for embarking on the journey.

The cohort will offer an opportunity for new entrepreneurs to join hands with industry experts, investors, and other startups from all over the world. It will increase the potential source for partnerships and collaborations.

The PedalStart Agcuabtor cohort is open for different Agritech sectors like Farm Management Software, ag-biotech, Precision Agriculture, Hardware Solutions, Farm Infrastructure, AgRobotics, Farm Mechanisation, Farm Automation, Food Quality, Safety, Processing, Traceability, Logistics & Animal Husbandry, Warehousing, AgriFintech, and many others.
