Nitin Gadkari to Inaugurate 'MFOI Awards 2023' and Flag Off 'MFOI Kisan Bharat Yatra'
The 'MFOI Kisan Bharat Yatra 2023-24' is slated to embark on a monumental journey, traversing the length and breadth of the country from December 2023 to November 2024. The yatra aims to reach over 1 lakh farmers, spanning more than 4,000 locations and covering a remarkable distance exceeding 26,000 kilometers.
In a significant boost to the agricultural sector, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, is set to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest for the prestigious Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI) Awards 2023. The event, sponsored by Mahindra Tractors and organized by Krishi Jagran, aims to honor and celebrate the remarkable contributions of millionaire farmers across the nation. The ceremony will also witness the grand flag-off of the 'MFOI Kisan Bharat Yatra 2023–24,' a transformative mission that underscores the crucial role played by the agricultural community.
During an interaction with MC Dominic, the founder and editor-in-chief of Krishi Jagran, Minister Gadkari expressed his vision for agricultural growth, emphasizing that a doubling of the agricultural growth rate from 12 percent to 24 percent could potentially deter migration from villages to cities. He envisions the establishment of smart villages and the transformation of rural landscapes, showcasing his commitment to supporting and enhancing agricultural practices in the country.
