New Holland Agriculture Launches Mobile Medical Dispensary Providing Basic Healthcare
The Mobile Medical Dispensary will provide point-of-care diagnostics, including blood glucose testing, and will be operated by Medihelp Foundation. Also, screening for hypertension and diabetes will be provided to the visitors.

Recently, New Holland Agriculture launched a mobile medical dispensary (MMD) in Pune and nearby villages as a part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. This dispensary will offer basic healthcare services to people in need within a 35–40-kilometre radius of the city. New Holland Agriculture aims to offer benefits to over 15,000 persons each year through this initiative.
The Mobile Medical Dispensary will provide point-of-care diagnostics, including blood glucose testing, and will be operated by Medihelp Foundation. Also, screening for hypertension and diabetes will be provided to the visitors. Follow-up checks will be done fortnightly. The Mobile Medical Dispensary will also offer medical care, with patient referrals as required.
New Holland India CSR Lead, Kavita Sah said, “New Holland Agriculture is dedicated to providing help to communities surrounding our facilities, and our mobile medical dispensary is a step towards caring for the people of those communities. With this initiative, we aim to provide basic healthcare services to people in need. We hope making a positive impact in their lives and offer the overall well-being of these communities.”
The mobile medical dispensary is expected to visit over 20 villages in the region, including Vashire, Tardewadi, Bharate Wadi, Kadlak Wadi, Ganesh Wadi, Deshmukh, Karvande Wadi, among others and will run with a doctor and a paramedic. The initiative is a part of New Holland Agriculture’s mobile ambulance project on wheels, which has been already running in 15 villages around Greater Noida since 2016.
New Holland Agriculture provides modern technological agricultural solutions with a long range of tractors, combine harvesters, balers, rotavators, and a range of agricultural implements, that drive efficiency and productivity across numerous applications such as sowing, field preparation, tillage, plantation, harvesting, post-harvesting, commercial applications, and haulage.
