Nellore Farmers Urged to Embrace Potential of Drone Technology for Agricultural Advancement
The district Agricultural Council chief informs farmers that drone technology boosts productivity, time and energy efficiency, and cost savings in agriculture.
The transformative potential of drone technology in agriculture, marked by amplified efficiency, heightened productivity, and substantial savings, has taken center stage, championed by the Agricultural Council chief.
Doddamreddy Niranjan Babu Reddy, esteemed Chairman of the SPSR Nellore District Agricultural Council Advisory Committee, is passionately urging the agricultural community to wholeheartedly embrace the marvels of drones.
He told that, through the integration of GPS-enabled drones, reliance on cumbersome tanks and hazardous pesticide application practices is rendered obsolete. A new era emerges, characterized by pinpoint precision in distribution and a concerted effort to address the persisting labor scarcity among paddy growers within the district.

Reddy emphasizes the market's rise above the government-set minimum support price for paddy. He calls for streamlined payments via Rythu Bharosa Kendras, aiming to benefit farmers with reduced delays in transport and labor charges.
Additionally, Reddy stresses the need for expanded training in unmanned aerial vehicle operations, with 18 technicians already trained.
Amidst his multifaceted directives, Reddy highlights the pivotal role played by e-crop booking and streamlined procedures. With unwavering commitment, he assures that the gateway to subsidies and vital marketing support via Rythu Bharosa Kendras is exclusively accessible to those conscientiously completing the e-KYC procedures.
