Mr. G S Grewal has been appointed as the first Indian Managing Director for Kubota India, according to a recent announcement by Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited.

Mr. G S Grewal has over 30 years of experience in the Farm Machinery Industry. He joined Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt Ltd (KAI) in 2010 as Senior General Manager, Sales, and Marketing, and over the last 12 years, he has been promoted to several leadership positions, including VP, Sr. VP, and Director, before taking over as MD for KAI on January 1, 2023. Under his leadership, KAI has experienced exponential growth in sales, dealer network, and market capitalization. Furthermore, he was instrumental in establishing Kubota as one of India's fastest-growing MNC brands.

Before joining Kubota India, he held key positions with Escorts and TAFE for over two decades.

Mr. G S Grewal, after being named KAI Managing Director, stated, "I look forward to leading the team at Kubota India and working together to chart a future of growth, creating value for our customers by providing an unrivaled customer experience."

Kubota Corporation, a 132-year-old Japanese multinational corporation, has operations in over 120 countries. They began operations in India in 2008, with headquarters in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 14 years, the company has introduced a variety of new products (Agricultural Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Paddy Transplanters, and construction equipment) while keeping market demands in mind.
