Marut Drones Teams Up with PJTSAU to Amplify Agriculture, Introduces its High-Tech AG365 Drone
The collaboration between Marut Drones and PJTSAU was showcased at the fourth edition of Agri-Tech South 2024, held from February 16 to 18, 2024, at PJTSAU's campus.
Marut Drones, a leading provider of agricultural drone technology, recently collaborated with Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) to introduce their cutting-edge AG365 Drone. This partnership aims to revolutionize agricultural practices in Telangana and empower rural communities.
The inauguration of Marut's AG365 Drone took place at Agritech South 2024, a prestigious agricultural technology event organized by PJTSAU and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). This event marks a significant step forward in leveraging innovative technologies to benefit farmers, women, and youth in the state.
As part of this collaboration, PJTSAU acquired two advanced drones from Marut Drones for research, utility, and training purposes. These drones will play a vital role in enhancing agricultural practices, conducting research initiatives, and providing training to rural youth, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and agricultural graduates.
Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao highlighted the transformative potential of drones in agriculture, expressing the government's full support for initiatives exploring drone technology. He emphasized the importance of extensive training and adoption to improve farm management and facilitate the formulation of a drone-based agriculture policy.
Prem Kumar Vislawath, CEO of Marut Drones, expressed gratitude to the Minister of Agriculture for encouraging drone adoption. He emphasized the versatility and suitability of Marut's AG365 drone for Indian conditions, noting its potential to revolutionize farming practices and generate economic opportunities in rural areas.
