Marut Drones introduces Seedcopter 2.0, India's first reforestation drone service, enabling corporate participation in CSR and UN SDGs alignment. CEO Prem Kumar Vislawath envisions a bright future, one drone at a time.
Marut Drones, a leading drone manufacturing company, has announced the launch of Seedcopter 2.0, India's first reforestation drone service. This innovative solution provides corporations with a unique opportunity to actively participate in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and contribute to reforestation efforts.
Marut Drones aims to boost collaboration between corporations and their dedicated CSR teams, aligning their initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 13, 15, 17, and 9, while actively managing their carbon footprint.
Marut Drones' innovative Seedcopter has demonstrated its effectiveness in the 'Hara-Bahara' campaign, with over one crore trees planted across nine Indian states in 2022. Marut is dedicated to restoring 900 forests through this initiative, and with the expansion of Seedcopter 2.0 to corporate use, they aim to broaden the reach of drone technology and inspire more involvement in India's green cover restoration efforts.
Popular actor and environmental champion Rana Daggubati, who partnered with Marut Drones in 2021, highlighted the significance of communal collaboration and empowerment in realizing lasting environmental change. The Seedcopter 2.0, a swift and more economical alternative to conventional planting approaches, engages rural women actively in acquiring seedlings, transforming reforestation into a collaborative community effort.
Prem Kumar Vislawath, CEO of Marut Drones, is excited about the launch of Seedcopter 2.0 for corporate use. He believes that Seedcopter is not just about planting trees, it is about restoring hope to the forests, one drone at a time. By making Seedcopter 2.0 available to corporations, Marut Drones hopes to expand the reach of drone technology and inspire more people to contribute to India's green cover.
Under his leadership, Marut Drones aims to do more than just plant trees, they aspire to nurture the prospect of regrowing entire forests, employing drones as a singular tool in this activity. Marut Drones' specially designed drones can effectively disperse seed balls in challenging terrains, making afforestation faster and less labor-intensive.
