Mahindra & Mahindra has released its tractor sales report for May 2023, revealing a decline in sales both in the domestic and export markets.

In May 2023, the company witnessed a slight decline in domestic sales as it sold 33,113 units, compared to 34,153 units sold in May 2022, reflecting a 3% decrease.

Mahindra's Tractor Sales Report for May 2023 reveals a substantial decline of 35%, with 1,013 units being sold as opposed to 1,569 units in May 2022, in the export market.

Mahindra & Mahindra has released its year-to-date tractor sales figures for 2023, revealing a decline in both the domestic and export markets.

In the domestic market, the company experienced a 7% decline in sales, with a total of 68,511 units sold in 2023, as opposed to the 73,558 units sold in 2022.

Mahindra's year-to-date tractor sales in the export market have witnessed a significant decline, with a 35% drop recorded. The sales figures indicate that in 2023, a total of 2,020 units were sold, which is a decrease from the 3,103 units sold in 2022.

Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., commented on the company's performance, stating that “they achieved sales of 33,113 tractors in the domestic market in May 2023. The record-breaking harvest of Rabi crops, favorable reservoir levels, improved conditions for farmers' trade, and the Indian Meteorological Department's prediction of a normal southwest monsoon are positive signs for the upcoming Kharif season. Furthermore, the company has sold 1,013 tractors in the export market”.
