Mahindra Tractor Sales Report January 2023- Mahindra Records 31% YoY Tractor Sales Growth

Farm Equipment Sector (FES) of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales figures for January 2023 today. Domestic sales in January 2023 totaled 27,626 units, up from 21,162 units in January 2022. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in January 2023 were 28,926 units, up from 22,682 units the previous year. The month's exports totaled 1,300 units.

Farm Equipment Sector (FES) of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales figures for January 2023 today.

Domestic sales in January 2023 totaled 27,626 units, up from 21,162 units in January 2022.

Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in January 2023 were 28,926 units, up from 22,682 units the previous year. The month's exports totaled 1,300 units.

Mahindra tractor export sales were 1300 units in January 2023, down from 1520 units in January 2022. The data on export sales show a 14% decrease.

"We sold 27,626 tractors in the domestic market during January 2023, registering a 31% increase over last year," said Hemant Sikka, President - of Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. “We are off to a good start this year, with a promising Rabi crop outlook, as sowing acreage for key crops of wheat, pulses, and oil seeds has already exceeded previous year levels, thanks to favorable soil and weather conditions. This bodes well for the farmers as they begin to harvest this bumper crop in the coming months. Furthermore, continued government focus and increased investment in this sector will support positive sentiments and increase tractor demand. We sold 1300 tractors in the export market."
