Mahindra Sales Report 2022- Mahindra Sells 21,640 Tractor Units In December 2022

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. recently released its tractor sales report for December 2022. Overall Mahindra tractor sales in December 2022 were 23,243 units, up from 18,269 units in December 2021. Mahindra's overall sales data for December 2022 show a 27% increase.

Mahindra's domestic tractor sales in December 2022 were 21,640 units, up from 16,687 units in December 2021. Mahindra's domestic tractor sales have increased by 30% in the last year.

"We sold 21,640 tractors in the domestic market during December 2022, a 30% increase over last year," said Hemant Sikka, President - Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Commenting further he commented, “Rabi crop sowing has progressed very well, with acreage higher than last year and also higher than the five-year average. Wheat and oil seeds are expected to be abundant. On the back of strong Rabi sowing, good Kharif procurement, and likely wheat exports, farming sentiments remain upbeat, resulting in strong demand for tractors and farm implements. We sold 1,603 tractors in the export market, a 1% increase over last year."
