Mahindra Tractors, a world leader in tractor manufacturing by volume, has taken a significant step in reshaping global agriculture with its latest offering - the Mahindra Oja range of tractors. This innovative range, developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery of Japan, showcases the brand's commitment to pushing the boundaries of agricultural technology and efficiency.
Global Reach and Investment: A Visionary Approach
With a substantial investment of approximately Rs 1,200 crore, Mahindra has brought the Oja range to fruition. These lightweight four-wheel-drive (4WD) tractors are set to be manufactured in India and exported to countries spanning six continents, solidifying Mahindra's position as a leading global player in the agricultural sector.
Expansion Plans: Bridging Continents
While the initial launch is focused on India, Mahindra's ambitious roadmap includes subsequent launches in key regions such as North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC region. The debut in the ASEAN region is set to commence with Thailand in 2024, marking an exciting expansion into new markets.

The Mahindra Oja range is built on four distinct platforms catering to varying farming requirements:
1. Sub-Compact (20-26hp)
2. Compact (21-30hp)
3. Small Utility (26-40hp)
4. Large Utility (45-70hp)
Innovative Models: A New Standard in Tractor Features
The recent launch phase has introduced seven new Oja tractor models across three platforms: sub-compact, compact, and small utility. These models span a range of power outputs from 20hp to 40hp, highlighting Mahindra's commitment to offering diverse solutions for farmers.
Technology Packs: Category-First Attributes
All Oja tractors are equipped with cutting-edge features, categorized into three technology packs:
1. Myoja (Telematics Pack): GPS live location, service alerts, critical alerts, diesel monitoring, coverage, and trip calculators.
2. Proja (Productivity Pack): Creeper mode, compact engine technology, F/R shuttle, tilt and telescopic steering, wet electric PTO.
3. Roboja (Automation Pack): Auto PTO, auto implement lift, auto one-side braking.
Pricing and Availability:
Among the featured models, the Mahindra Oja 2127 is priced at Rs 5,64,500 (ex-showroom, Pune), while the Mahindra Oja 3140 is listed at Rs 7,35,000 (ex-showroom, Pune). These technologically advanced tractors are slated to hit the market in October.

Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO (Auto and Farm Sector), Mahindra & Mahindra, expressed pride in the global launch of the Oja range, highlighting its potential to revolutionize farming practices worldwide. Manufacturing Hub: A State-of-the-Art Facility
The Mahindra Oja tractor range will be exclusively manufactured at Mahindra's advanced tractor facility in Zaheerabad, Telangana.
