Mahindra Domestic Tractor Sales Report February 2023- Saw A Jump of 30%

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. recently released its tractor sales report for February 2023. In February 2023, 25791 Mahindra tractors were sold altogether, up from 20437 units in February 2022. The total number of Mahindra sales for February 2023 increased by 26%. Compared to 18910 units in February 2022, Mahindra's domestic tractor sales totaled 24619 units in February 2023. Mahindra's domestic tractor sales have increased dramatically by 30%.

In February 2023, 1172 units of Mahindra tractors were exported, down from 1527 units in February 2022. The statistics on export sales indicate a 23% decrease in export sales.

Hemant Sikka, President of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector, commented on the results, "We have sold 24,619 tractors in the domestic market during February 2023, an increase of 30% over last year. Positive feelings are present in the rural markets as a result of record Rabi crop acres for wheat and oilseeds, high crop prices, and better terms of trade for farmers. More Rabi output is anticipated, which will increase farmer access to cash and enhance demand for tractors. The levels of the water reservoirs are still very high. We have distributed 1172 tractors overseas.”
