Kubota Unveils Electric Tractor Prototype at CES 2024, Aims to Transform Farming in 2030

Making a grand entrance at CES 2024, Kubota North America Corporation unveiled an excellent prototype. The New Agri Concept, a fully electric tractor is set to revolutionize and maximise profit in small-scale farming by 2030. This impressive debut marked Kubota's first appearance at the world's biggest tech event that integrates AI, automation, and electrification into the next generation of agricultural equipment.

The New Agri Concept isn't just another tractor, it's a multi-purpose marvel designed for residential and small-scale growers. A lightning-fast charging system that can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in less than six minutes, ensuring a quick turnaround for users.

Kubota's senior technologist, Brett McMickell, expressed his excitement about unveiling the New Agri Concept. He emphasized how this innovation reflects Kubota's latest design philosophy, building on the company’s long legacy of technology innovation for the betterment of society. The vehicle boasts six independent drive motors and a standard three-point linkage, allowing it to utilize existing implements for common operations like mowing and tilling.

Kubota Tractor Corporation president Todd Stucke revealed a transformative shift – Kubota is evolving into a solutions provider from its roots as a trusted compact equipment provider. He also said that AI will further help identify potential issues and automate operations. Data collection and real-time monitoring further empower users, while water-management automation promotes sustainability.

He further said, "We're evolving beyond just selling equipment." Their main goal is to put the data and AI directly in the hands of residential equipment owners, making their lives easier and more efficient.

The New Agri Concept also provides a glimpse into the future of agriculture. With its focus on AI, automation, and sustainability, Kubota is setting the stage for a new era of farming, one that benefits both individuals and the environment.
