Krishi Jagran Founder MC Dominic Inspires at ICV-7 Conference, Advocates for Agricultural Transformation

MC Dominic, the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, captivated the audience with his engaging speech on the second day of the 7th International Conference on Vetiver (ICV-7) held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Taking place from May 29 to June 1, 2023, this three-day conference highlights the exceptional attributes of Vetiver, a unique grass indigenous to Thailand renowned for its remarkable soil and water conservation capabilities.

In his address, Mr. Dominic, accompanied by esteemed environmentalists and agricultural experts, underscored the obstacles confronting the agriculture industry and put forward viable solutions. He specifically drew attention to the inadequate media coverage devoted to agriculture, a critical sector that necessitates efficient communication platforms to connect farmers with the broader populace.

Mr. Dominic highlighted the pressing necessity for media organizations to prioritize the communication of agricultural information, drawing attention to the prosperous entertainment industry. He emphasized the need for a concerted effort, akin to the dedicated endeavors of Krishi Jagran's Agriculture World magazine in its coverage of the 7th International Conference on Vetiver (ICV-7).

During the inaugural day of the conference on May 29, Krishi Jagran's Agriculture World Magazine unveiled a unique edition scheduled for June, capturing the interest of the attendees.

Paul Truong, the Technical Director of TVNI and Director for Asia and the Pacific, commended the commendable step taken by Krishi Jagran, acknowledging their creation of a dedicated edition specifically tailored to cover the conference.
