Machines and techniques are being used for almost every type of agricultural operation. Meanwhile, the use of agricultural drones is also being promoted for spraying and monitoring crops.
Under the Kisan Pushkar Scheme, Union Bank has approved loans for about 150 drone applications. These agricultural drones will not only make it easier to spray fertilizers and pesticides in the crop field but will also help farmers to connect with Agri tech for modern farming. The target is to make available around 5,000 drones by 31 March 2023 and for this initiative, the loan approvals have also started.
Recently, drone manufacturing company Garuda Aerospace announced its partnership with Union Bank of India, which approved the loan applications for about 150 drones.
This partnership between Union Bank and Garun Aerospace will be very helpful in customer acquisition, lead generation, application sourcing, and credit deployment, according to the report of Kisan Tak. Let us tell you that the Garun Kisan drone is the first agricultural drone to get loan approval for farming, which was approved by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
Regarding the mutual partnership of Garun Aerospace with Union Bank of India, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, founder and CEO of this start-up, says that in February 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 100 agricultural drones. While working on this goal, we have come a long way and now our target is to export 10,000 drones to 100 countries in the next 6 months.
