In a significant move aimed at revolutionizing the agricultural landscape in Karnataka, the state's Agriculture Minister, N Cheluvarayaswamy, announced the launch of a high-tech hub scheme under the Krishi Bhagya program. This scheme, with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore, is designed to empower and support farmers across the state.

Minister Cheluvarayaswamy made this announcement during the launch of the agriculture extension program by the Sri Kshetra Dharmastala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) at Ujire. He emphasized that the high-tech hub scheme is intended to enhance the welfare of farmers by providing them with advanced farm equipment at their doorstep.

Under this visionary initiative, the state government is set to cover 70 percent of the scheme's costs, with the remaining 30 percent being borne by a private entity. This partnership will undoubtedly help Karnataka's farming community gain access to cutting-edge technology, thus improving agricultural practices and overall productivity.
