June 2023 Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales Report- Registered a Decline of 2.0 % on Total Sales

Escorts Kubota, a leading manufacturer of tractors and construction machinery, reported stable domestic sales in June. The company recorded 9,270 units sold, similar to the figure from the corresponding month last year. However, total sales, including both domestic and exports, experienced a slight decline of 2 percent, reaching 9,850 units compared to 10,051 units in June 2022.

Escorts Kubota noted that market sentiments varied in June, with regions having favorable rainfall and crop prices showing positive momentum, while areas with delayed monsoons witnessed a slightly dampened demand. The company remains optimistic about the future, expecting an improvement in demand momentum in the upcoming months. Factors such as the progress of the monsoon across the country, sufficient reservoir levels, improved liquidity, and availability of consumer credit contribute to this positive outlook.

In terms of tractor sales, Escorts Kubota sold 580 units in June 2023, representing a decline of 26.2 percent compared to the 786 tractors sold in the same period last year. On the other hand, the construction equipment segment experienced growth, with the company selling 491 machines, marking a 53 percent increase from the 321 machines sold in June 2022.

Escorts Kubota Domestic and Exports June 2023 Sales Report

Despite the onset of the monsoon, the government's emphasis on expediting infrastructure projects continued to drive demand for construction machinery. Escorts Kubota anticipates a further acceleration in momentum post-monsoon.

In the fiscal year 2024, the sales of Escorts Kubota Tractor witnessed a slight decline of 0.8%, with a total of 26,582 units sold compared to 26,797 units in the previous fiscal year, 2023. However, the domestic tractor sales of Escorts Kubota showed a positive growth of 2.5%, reaching 25,226 units in FY24 compared to 24,608 units in FY23. On the other hand, the exports of Escorts Kubota experienced a significant decrease of 38.1%, with 1,356 units sold in FY24 compared to 2,189 units in FY23.
