Iowa State Agriculture Secretary to Witness Telangana's Progress Through Upcoming Visit
The Iowa State Agriculture Secretary expressed plans to visit Telangana soon and observe its advancements firsthand.

Telangana Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy has urged collaboration between Telangana and the US state of Iowa due to shared interests in foodgrain, poultry, and meat production.
Leading a delegation, including Agriculture Secretary M. Raghunandan Rao and State Seed Development Corporation MD K. Keshavulu, he highlighted Telangana's agricultural progress during a visit to Iowa.
The team met Lt. Governor Adam Gregg and discussed Telangana's growth in sectors like paddy, fish, milk, and meat, with a new focus on oilseed production.

Minister Reddy praised Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's decisions for remarkable foodgrain growth. Meetings with Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig centered on agronomist Norman Borlaug's contributions and their global impact.

Naig expressed intent to visit Telangana to observe its progress. The delegation also visited Iowa State University, engaging with President Wendy Wintersteen and touring the seed science center.
