IoTechWorld Avigation Signs MOU With Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth To Promote Use Of Drones In Agriculture
Agri drone manufacturer IoTechWorld Avigation announced its collaboration with agri-university Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Maharashtra, to encourage the usage of drones in the agriculture industry. The two partners also intend to establish an RPTO for agricultural drones, or a remote pilot training organization. To promote the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to increase farm productivity, IoTechWorld Avigation and Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

To promote the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to increase farm productivity, IoTechWorld Avigation and Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by PN Rasal, Dean (F/A) and Director of Instructions, and on behalf of IoTechWorld Avigation by Anoop Kumar Upadhyay, Co-Founder, and Director.
Upadhyay stated that his company and the university will collaborate on joint educational and R&D projects to create a modern and sustainable smart agricultural system. The two parties will also work together to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for crop spraying with drones.
IoTechWorld will be the technical partner in the establishment of a Remote Pilot Training Organization for agricultural drones with MPKV, which will help reduce the country's drone pilot shortage, he added.
Deepak Bhardwaj, Director of IoTechWorld, stated that the collaboration with an institution like MPKV will aid in the promotion of research activities involving drones in agriculture. "Use of drones in agriculture is very beneficial for farmers because these aerial robots save them money and time," he added.
According to Bhardwaj, agri-drones increase productivity lessens field operational delays, optimize the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and thus help farmers increase their income.
