Insecticides (India) Unveils Four Innovative Crop Protection Products, Aims to Enhance Agricultural Productivity

Insecticides (India) Ltd., a prominent agrochemical manufacturer, is dedicated to strengthening agriculture through a vision and mission focused on high productivity and progress to ensure the prosperity of farmers. 

Recently Insecticides (India) has unveiled a quartet of novel crop protection products, including Nakshatra, Supremo SP, Opaque, and Million during the ongoing Rabi crop sowing season. The aim is to enhance agricultural productivity and to support farmers. Through a modest entry into the agricultural domain in 2001, Insecticides (India) has rapidly become a prominent name in the Crop Protection Industry.

One of the newly launched products, 'Nakshatra,' designed for sugarcane crops, employs an innovative approach featuring a combination of two highly potent herbicides. This formulation provides effective protection against unwanted weeds, addressing a crucial aspect of crop management.

Rajesh Aggarwal, the Managing Director of Insecticides (India), highlighted that the new crop protection products are not just about helping individual farmers but also about making overall farming better and long-lasting. This, he said, would contribute to the country's overall prosperity.

Another effective addition includes 'Opaque,' a pioneering patented herbicide product that combines two herbicides in a ZE formulation. This product ensures robust control over various weeds, creating optimal growth conditions for crops. Its versatility, applicable to multiple crops except for onions, is positioned as a blessing for farmers. To achieve effective weed control, 'Opaque' should be applied within three days after transplanting.

'Supremo SP,' described as a formidable tool against chewing and sucking insects, proves valuable in combating pests like stem borers and leaf folders in paddy fields. Additionally, it serves as an effective solution for controlling insects in various vegetables.

The fourth and last product includes, 'Million,' which is specifically designed to target the Phalaris minor weed in wheat crops. With a recommended application rate of 60 grams per acre through pre-emergence application within three days of sowing, 'Million' addresses a common challenge faced by wheat farmers.
