The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has asked Garuda Aerospace to deliver their DGCA-approved drones for disaster management operations in support of the ongoing relief and rescue Efforts in Turkey that have left thousands dead and several thousand missing. Garuda Aerospace will use their modified Kisan Drone to carry payloads that will help transport emergency medications, supplies, and food for victims as well as their Droni Drone for surveillance in the most affected areas to find where victims may be trapped under rubble piles.

"Garuda Aerospace has consistently used drones to make a significant impact and respond quickly to crises. Garuda Aerospace is using drones to assist ongoing rescue and relief efforts in Turkey in light of the current situation. As an Indian citizen, I'm honored to assist the NDRF when necessary”, said Agnishwar Jayaprakash, founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace.

Previously, Garuda Aerospace deployed drones for rescue and relief operations in Uttarakhand following the Chamoli glacier burst, as well as to support the locust control operation in Rajasthan. Garuda Aerospace and Swiggy worked together to use emergency drones to transport medication and vaccinations to hospitals during the pandemic.

Garuda drones have also rescued a hiker and assisted a mountaineer in rappelling down a hill. In Bengaluru hospitals in 2021, Garuda's White Knight drones for the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) distributed medications and vaccinations.

In 100 villages across India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi simultaneously flagged 100 Kisan drones with live tracking, data collection, and processing. Since the pandemic, Garuda Aerospace has been the preferred drone partner for NDRF. Garuda Aerospace has 400 drones and more than 500 pilots spread across 84 cities, making it ready to respond to various emergencies.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team, introduced the Droni camera drone at the Global Drone Expo in Chennai and also took on the role of brand ambassador for the company.
