Recently Freshokartz a catering-based agricultural company has attained fundings from the nation's prominent investors including Real-Time Angel Fund, Nitish Mittersain (Founder and CEO of Nazara), Sreevasthva P (Founder and CEO of Servify), Marwari Catalyst, Siddharth Shah, RVCF and many more.

The company has also announced the launch of social commerce super app, designed for developing village Level entrepreneurs(VLEs), providing increased opportunities for aspiring micro – Agripreneurs in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and nearby states.

Founder and CEO of Freshokartz, Rajendra Lora told that "Their team studied the rural economy and created an entirely technological solution. The team has seen recurrent encounters with our farmers during their extensive time providing Agri Input and Market Linkages services. Our  Super App has gained incredible initial popularity, with VLEs considering it their main source of income. In the next 4-5 years, it is our goal to work with more than 500,000 VLEs to reach more than 5 million farmers.”

Freshokartz targets to serve those farmers who due to uncertain circumstances and lack of access to technologies could not perform activities. Farmers in rural areas are sometimes forgotten about and dependent on conventional solutions, which results in greater prices. In fact, online platforms mainly cater to urban areas and select tier 2-3 cities.

The VLEs of Freshokartz will act as an intermediary between farmers and Freshokartz which will assist in customer acquisition, product and service awareness, and order placement through the Saarthi mobile application.

The platform enables thousands of people to launch their own small enterprises from the convenience of their homes with no upfront costs. Additionally, it makes it possible for companies to reach farmers directly, cutting out the middleman. Farm machinery, tractors, agri inputs, financial products, agri equipment, insurance, market connections, and crop advice services are just a few of the agricultural demands that Freshokartz can meet.

Currently, the business connects with over 500,000 farmers through partnerships with more than 15,000 VLEs across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and neighboring states. Through these VLEs, Freshokartz distributes its products to farmers with the help of approximately 50 partners. Surprisingly, VLEs have the potential to make up to 25,000 INR per month, with an average monthly income of 5,000 to 15,000 INR.

Since Freshokartz offers a variety of agri-related services on a single platform, it is obvious that they are expanding in the correct path. Only technology can aid in the construction of a scalable model.

To uplift the farmer's community, and contribute towards the agriculture sector Freshokartz has also joined hands to collaborate with prominent organizations including UPL, BASF, Axis Bank, BankSathi, ICICI Lombard, Balwan, JCB, Jain Irrigations, GrowIT, Shakti Pumps, Solskean Energy, and others. This partnership aims to fulfill and address farmers' problems and to bring positive solutions.
