Escorts Kubota Sells 10,354 Tractors in May 2025

On June 1, 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division announced its tractor sales performance for May 2025. The company sold a total of 10,354 tractors during the month, up from 10,286 units recorded in May 2024.

In the domestic market, tractor sales reached 9,703 units compared to 9,906 units sold during the same period last year. According to the company, the timely arrival of the monsoon has boosted rural market sentiment, setting the stage for a smooth start to Kharif crop-related activities.

Escorts Kubota anticipates that this positive trend will continue, supported by favorable monsoon forecasts, sufficient water availability in reservoirs, and better financial liquidity among farmers.

In terms of exports, the company recorded strong growth, shipping 651 tractors in May 2025 — a 71.3% increase over the 380 units exported in May 2024.

* The National Company Law Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench (NCLT) has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Escorts Kubota India Private Limited and Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited (Amalgamating Companies) with Escorts Kubota Limited (Amalgamated Company). The certified copy of the approval was received by the company on August 29, 2024, and filed with the Registrar of Companies on September 1, 2024. Accordingly, the volume reported here for the current as well as previous period(s) includes sales numbers of the amalgamating companies also.
