Escorts Kubota Reports 2.7% Rise in Tractor Sales in July 2025

Escorts Kubota Limited reported a 2.7% year-on-year growth in tractor sales for July 2025, selling 7,154 units. The company attributed the growth to favourable monsoon conditions and steady agricultural demand.

Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business has reported a 2.7% increase in total tractor sales for July 2025, selling 7,154 units compared to 6,963 units during the same month last year. The company released its sales data on August 1, highlighting both domestic and export market performance.

In the domestic market, tractor sales reached 6,624 units in July 2025, marking a modest growth of 1.3% over the 6,540 units sold in July 2024. This uptick has been attributed to timely and widespread monsoon rains, which have not only been above normal but have also contributed to healthy reservoir levels across key agricultural regions. The favourable weather conditions have improved rural sentiment, resulting in better liquidity among farmers and supporting steady demand in the agriculture sector, although commercial demand continues to be subdued.

Kharif sowing activities have gained momentum, with the area under cultivation already exceeding last year’s figures. This positive trend has further strengthened the outlook for agricultural machinery demand in the coming months. Escorts Kubota remains hopeful that this momentum will sustain, leading to continued growth in the tractor industry.

On the export front, the company recorded robust growth, selling 530 tractors in July 2025, a notable 25.3% increase compared to 423 units in July 2024. This strong performance underscores Escorts Kubota’s expanding presence in international markets and the rising global demand for its products.
