Domestic Tractor Sales Report June 2023: Positive Growth of 4.19% with 98,438 Units Sold

TAFE, Sonalika International, and New Holland witnessed notable sales growth, indicating their strong market presence.
The Indian tractor industry witnessed a notable upswing in domestic sales during June 2023, marking a 4.19% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. This surge in sales comes as a welcome development for the agricultural machinery sector, which plays a crucial role in India's agrarian economy.

TAFE, one of the leading tractor manufacturers, experienced a 2.20% increase in sales, with 18,199 tractors sold in June 2023. However, the company's market share saw a slight decrease of 0.36%.
Sonalika International witnessed notable growth in June 2023, selling 12,056 tractors, marking a 6.53% increase compared to June 2022. The brand's market share also grew by 0.27%.
Escorts saw a modest 0.05% increase in tractor sales in June 2023, selling 9,270 units. Nevertheless, its market share declined by 0.39%.
John Deere faced a decline in domestic sales in June 2023, with a 4.50% drop, selling 7,674 tractors. The company's market share also decreased by 0.71%.
New Holland's sales increased by 6.63% in June 2023, with 3,279 tractors sold. The brand's market share saw a slight increase of 0.08%.
Kubota, the Japanese tractor manufacturer, experienced a significant 18.24% decrease in sales, selling only 1,954 units in June 2023. The brand also lost 0.54% of its market share.

Captain tractor witnessed substantial growth with a 37.44% increase in sales, selling 580 tractors in June 2023. The brand's market share also saw a slight increase of 0.14%.
Preet's domestic tractor sales in June 2023 recorded a 0.55% hike, with a total sale of 549 tractors. The company's market share, however, experienced a slight decrease of 0.02%.
Indo Farm tractors saw a 2.91% increase in sales, selling 530 tractors in June 2023. The company's market share slightly declined by 0.01%.
VST's domestic sales in June 2023 amounted to 460 tractors, resulting in a 0.44% sales increase. The brand's market share, though, dipped by 0.02%.
Force tractors faced a significant decline of 41.16% in sales, selling 243 units in June 2023. The company's market share also decreased by 0.19%.
ACE tractor domestic sales in June 2023 observed a substantial decline of 38.21%, with 207 units sold compared to June 2022. Consequently, the market share decreased by 0.14%.
SDF tractor sales showed a 1.39% increase, with 73 tractors sold in June 2023. However, the market share of SDF tractors remained unchanged.
Overall, the domestic tractor sales in June 2023 indicated a positive growth trend, setting the stage for potentially impressive sales in the upcoming season.
