DJI (Da-Jiang Innovation), one of the world leaders in the development of drone and camera technology, has unveiled its latest agricultural drone in its plant protection series, the DJI AGRAS T20.

Improved spray system for accuracy and efficiency

  • The DJI AGRAS T20 can carry a maximum payload of 20kg and the piping arrangement has been improved to achieve a 20% improvement in the uniformity of the spray droplets and the effective spray diameter of seven meters.

  • The DJI AGRAS T20 is equipped with eight microphones and high volume pumps that can pump up to six l / min. The highly developed air field produces the right drops in size and consistency. The new four-channel electric flow meter design can monitor and control four pipelines individually, ensuring the effective flow rate of each pipe.

  • The DJI AGRAS T20 is equipped with the Omnidirectional Digital Radar system, which can detect obstacles in all horizontal directions. It can also avoid obstacles automatically while flying in various locations, ensuring a high level of operational safety. With this radar system, the AGRAS T20 can adapt to some of the most challenging areas due to its strong resistance to dust and water due to its IP67 rating.

  • In addition, the DJI AGRAS T20 enables users to set flight and performance limits. With the built-in centimeter level setting of RTK and RTK dongles, the waypoint level recording is enabled, greatly enhancing the functions and ensuring accurate spraying. It also comes with a real-time FPV camera and dual search lights, giving users a full live view even during low light operation.

  • According to DJI, the modular design of the DJI AGRAS T20 folds and opens in seconds, making it more portable than other agricultural drones. The spray tank and battery are both interchangeable, reducing downtime and increasing workflow significantly.

  • The drone will be equipped with the new DJI AGRAS Smart Controller 2.0 software and DJI AGRAS mobile app. In addition, the smart controller comes with a brighter 5.5-inch display, which is readable even under direct sunlight and bright working conditions. It also supports external battery packs with heavy or heavy load.

  • DJI said with a wide range of DJI agricultural solutions, working on large hectares of farms, orchards, or grasslands has become much easier. DJI's agricultural solution packages are designed to monitor plant health and perform flexible treatment processes. Using P4 Multispectral, operators can scan target areas and produce multispectral charts that provide possible information on plant life and help create flexible spray and planting maps.

  • The '3DD Flight Route Planning' solution enables operators to navigate in challenging environments. Using the Phantom 4 RTK, operators can scan and map target locations, making it easy to identify all aspects of the field. In Orchard 3.0 mode, 3D flight paths can be created based on the winds of each tree after identification and users can spray well with their DJI AGRAS T20.
