DeHaat and Global Bio Agri-Input Innovations Join Forces to Promote Sustainability for Indian Farmers
The partnership between DeHaat, GBI, and Aussan Labs is poised to make a significant contribution to sustainable farming practices and benefit Indian farmers across the country.
DeHaat, the top AgriTech platform in India, has revealed a strategic collaboration with two global innovators in biological agri-input, GBI (Global BioAg Innovations) and Aussan Laboratories. This collaboration marks DeHaat's commitment to providing sustainable solutions to Indian farmers. With existing partnerships with over 250 agri companies and a wide range of 3000+ agri input SKUs, DeHaat is expanding its reach to global IPs for the first time.
As part of the long-term partnership, DeHaat has been given exclusive authorization to distribute and market six distinct formulations, which are protected by patents from GBI and Aussan Labs. Leveraging its extensive network of 12,000 DeHaat franchise centers across 110,000 villages in 12 Indian states, DeHaat aims to provide last-mile access to over 2 million Indian farmers.
The primary objective of this partnership is to empower farmers by offering them the right products and information to combat the challenges posed by changing climatic conditions and establishing sustainable agricultural practices. DeHaat intends to facilitate the adoption of cutting-edge products designed to improve soil health and fortify crops against the adverse effects of climate change. DeHaat has already collaborated with four global innovations and plans to bring additional agricultural solutions to Indian soil.

Amrendra Singh, Co-founder of DeHaat, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that it aims to empower farmers to adapt to sustainable practices and climate-resilient farming. Roger Tripathi, CEO of GBI, expressed enthusiasm about working with DeHaat and utilizing its extensive reach to make Indian agriculture more sustainable. The focus of their collaboration will be on soil health and plant health linkages, reflecting their shared passion for innovation.
Sandeep Jayaswal, CEO of Aussan India, emphasized their commitment to removing toxic chemicals from the agriculture industry and the food chain while working in harmony with nature. Jayaswal expressed excitement about distributing their flagship innovation, CropBioLife, through DeHaat's extensive network in India, enabling higher returns on investment for Indian farmers in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner.

Notably, Aussan Labs' flagship product, CropBioLife, developed after six years of research and over 100 trials conducted globally, has received organic certification in geographies like the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Through this partnership, the unique product will be solely accessible in India via the DeHaat network.
DeHaat's comprehensive agricultural value chain services and its understanding of farmer requirements have helped it evolve into a network of 2 million transacting farmers. Offering a range of agri services such as input supply, soil testing, crop advisory, financial services, and market linkage, DeHaat has successfully integrated climate-resilient agricultural practices into its recommendations for farmers. The solutions provided by GBI and Aussan have been rigorously tested on various crops over the past year, showcasing their impact in enhancing income by 40-60% through improved soil fertility, extended crop shelf life, and enhanced plant immunity.
This news arrives at a time when several global agri-input companies are eyeing India as a target destination due to its substantial farming population, robust sector growth, increased technology adoption, and growing interest in sustainable products among the Indian farming community.
