In a vibrant display of support, Rahul Gandhi illuminated five innovative initiatives orchestrated by the Congress government. These visionary programs, notably encompassing loan forgiveness and input subsidies, have emerged as resounding success stories, engineered with the farmers' best interests.

Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, visited a village near Raipur to show his support for farmers. He helped to harvest paddy and praised the farmer-friendly policies of the Congress government in Chhattisgarh.

Gandhi highlighted five key schemes of the Congress government, including loan waivers and input subsidies, which have benefited farmers.

Mr Gandhi later posted on X and said, "If farmers are happy then India is happy".

He visited Kathiya village with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo. The Congress party has shared images of Rahul Gandhi's visit on social media, depicting him actively working alongside farmers in the paddy fields and engaging in discussions with them.

It's worth noting that these farmer-centric schemes were introduced by the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel following the 2018 assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi also posted the pictures on his X handle and said, “If farmers are happy then India is happy! Five best works of the Congress government for the farmers in Chhattisgarh, which made them the happiest in India. MSP on paddy ₹ 2,640/quintal, Input subsidy of ₹ 23,000 crore to 26 lakh farmers, Loan worth ₹ 10,000 crores of 19 lakh farmers waived, electricity bill half, ₹ 7,000/year to 5 lakh agricultural laborers. A model that we will replicate across India."

Chhattisgarh is poised for upcoming assembly elections scheduled for November 7 and 17, and the eagerly awaited results will be disclosed on December 3.

Rahul Gandhi's direct involvement in the paddy harvesting process serves as a powerful symbol of the party's alignment with the concerns and aspirations of the agricultural sector in the state.
