Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, this financial aid will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of deserving beneficiaries, specifically tenant farmers. A press release issued by the government highlights that a total of 1,46,324 tenant farmers hailing from diverse backgrounds, including Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and minorities, will benefit from this scheme. These tenant farmers, who hold Cultivation Certificate Rights (CCR) cards and are also involved in cultivating endowment lands, will each receive ₹7,500 as part of this assistance package.
In addition to the financial support for tenant farmers, the Andhra Pradesh government is also extending a helping hand to those farmers who have faced unfortunate crop losses. An amount of ₹11.01 crore will be disbursed as input subsidy to these farmers, alleviating the financial burden they have endured due to crop failures.
