"Agri Reach AI ML QC Application" From SLCM Got Accredited By NABL

Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM) has received NABL certification for its mobile app “Agri Reach AI ML QC.” This app improves and simplifies agricultural product quality testing. The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories accredited the company on Monday for its ground-breaking AI ML QC application which falls under its Patented Process Management system "Agri Reach", according to a statement.

This is the first time in NABL history that a mobile app has been certified.

The Agri Reach app puts the power of recent agricultural scientific advancements in the hands of everyday smartphone users. People in rural India are taking advantage of the benefits of this application. It has been used to inspect 21.59 lakh metric tonnes of food grains at 303 locations across 17 states in just two months since its launch.

Commenting on the NABL accreditation, Sandeep Sabharwal, Group CEO, SLCM, said, "We had the vision for 'phygitalising' (physical + digital infrastructure) the warehouse management system over a decade ago. SLCM developed 'Agri Reach,' a system that enables effective warehousing solutions independent of infrastructure, geography, and crops, with the help of a dedicated team of professionals. We are the only company in the Indian agriculture sector that has registered a technology patent in the agri-logistics (warehousing) segment for the past 75 years, and I am proud to say that we have reaffirmed our leadership status by being the first and only company in this space to receive the coveted NABL accreditation for an application that will transform the way the agri industry assays the quality of its commodities."

According to a study conducted by FICCI, India's oldest and largest top business association, the "Agri Reach" framework of services implemented in warehouses has contributed to a reduction in post-harvest losses to 0.5% from a normally accepted loss of 10%.
