Agrani is a SaaS (software as a service) based platform developed for all stakeholders of agriculture and disaster management. This platform works to connect all dots spanning from farm-to-table in the agricultural spectrum for providing farmer-centric solutions with the help of SpaceTech Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 was a great opportunity to launch the app. Agrani made a strong impression on global corporate leaders, policymakers, think tanks, and political and government leadership present together at the summit and also raised awareness and generated more reach for the technology.

Navneet Ravikar, Chairman & Managing Director of Leads Connect Services said,“Agrani is not just a simple market linkage app; it’s a game changer for the agriculture industry.”

He further added that they’re proud to be launching it at UPGIS. Water, Land, and soil health are witnessing stressed scenarios due to rapid urbanization and other connected activities. This may create a chance of uncertainties related to social productivity and economic stability. Therefore, appropriate interventions are required. Agrani aims to provide stage-wise agronomy advisories such as the impact of environment, weather, biophysical, and crop management practices on crop productivity.

“They have also assessed the need for financing and crop insurance to help strengthen the ecosystem. This requires a robust and transparent medium. They have created agricultural credit and value chain scores for efficient farm lending with electronic applications, insurance pay-outs linked to weather, and field data. These things aim to benefit transfers in agriculture and help farmers struggling to get access to finance on time.”

Ravikar also informed that “they have also enabled an omnichannel insurance platform, to provide seamless access to all relevant insurance products such as health, crop, cattle, life, and motor. The Agrani platform will also provide  post-sale service assistance and claims management.”

The use of diverse technologies can help in the advancement of food processing and logistics. By minimizing the gap between farmers and customers, the platform helps extend the food product distribution network for farmers and other stakeholders in markets.

Navneet Ravikar also said,” We also have walk-in Agrani centers that would act as the physical outlets for all platform services to the stakeholders.”
