Machines.

Pankaj Zha, Country Head of Sales & Operations, said that agricultural mechanization was necessary to increase the yield per acre of land because we have about 58% of arable land (according to the world average- 10%). He suggested that sarpanches and progressive farmers should be properly trained in using the latest farming techniques so that they can effectively train other farmers in the area.

According to Dr. CP Sawant, a senior scientist in the Department of Agricultural Mechanization at the ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering in Bhopal, mechanization in agriculture has the potential to reduce the cost of agricultural production and increase crop yields. He suggested that agricultural mechanization should not be limited to tractors but should include other important technologies such as precision farming, artificial intelligence, and remote sensing.

Dr. Pradeep Rajan, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, West Bengal, advised that farmers should be properly trained to make effective use of modern technology.
