Punjab
In Punjab, farmers receive a subsidy of up to 50 percent when purchasing agricultural machinery. Amongst this, general category farmers are eligible for a 40 percent subsidy, while a special component allows for a 50 percent subsidy. Additionally, agricultural implements are made available to custom hiring centers at a subsidized rate of 40 percent.
Haryana
In Haryana, farmers are offered subsidies on 55 different types of agricultural equipment through the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana. This scheme covers a wide range of agricultural machinery, ranging from Rs 1500 to Rs 25 lakh in cost. Farmers are eligible for a subsidy of up to 50 percent on these items. The Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana prioritizes Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women farmers, ensuring they receive preferential treatment under the scheme.
Madhya Pradesh
The E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana in Madhya Pradesh offers subsidies to farmers, providing them with a range of benefits from 30 to 50 percent. This scheme prioritizes Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women farmers, ensuring they receive the necessary support.

Uttar Pradesh
The Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana in Uttar Pradesh offers a subsidy benefit of 40 to 50 percent to selected farmers. Under this scheme, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and women farmers from all categories are eligible for a subsidy of up to 50 percent of the agricultural machinery's cost. Moreover, for the establishment of a Custom Hiring Center (CHC), individual beneficiaries and registered farmer groups receive a 40 percent subsidy on a maximum of Rs 10 lakh. This subsidy can be used to purchase various agricultural equipment, including tractors.
Bihar
The Bihar government has introduced the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme to support farmers in the state. This program offers subsidies on 90 different types of agricultural machinery, with varying rates based on their cost. Under this initiative, farmers receive subsidies ranging from 40 to 60 percent. Special emphasis is placed on farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Extremely Backward Classes, as they are eligible for higher subsidies compared to farmers in the general category.
