Precision Tech Upgrades For New Holland Guardian Sprayers In 2023

New Holland has introduced an improved version of the Guardian Sprayer that incorporates precision technology from Raven Industries.

The SP310F, SP370F, and SP410F Guardian sprayers from New Holland's 2023 lineup have a new color scheme, but the model numbers haven't changed, and they look largely the same as the previous model year. The majority of the sprayer's improvements have been made below the surface.

PARTNERSHIP WITH RAVEN

CNH Industrial's acquisition of Raven Industries has resulted in an influx of precision technology into its brands' products. This comes in the form of Raven's Slingshot and the IntelliSpray II for the 2023 Guardian Sprayers, with data collected and aggregated by Raven's Connected Workflow system. The Connected Workflow data is synced between the office and the field to generate programmes and strategies such as herbicide rate prescriptions for individual fields. All of this is accessible via the Slingshot mobile app.

With traceability reports, application records, fleet efficiency track edits, and transferable work orders, the Slingshot app can generate a high-level view of data throughout the duration of the job.

Raven's VSN Visual Guidance on the sprayer uses cameras and radars to guide the sprayer's boom and drive line.

The IntelliView 12 and Viper 4+ displays on the sprayers allow operators to monitor the sprayer's vital functions such as suspension information, liquid management controls, auto rinse functions, 4-wheel steering, tread width adjustments, and more.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

• Guardian Sprayer models range in horsepower from 309 to 412.
• Tank capacities range from 1,600 gallons to 1,600 gallons, and boom widths range from 90 to 135 feet.
• The Guardian also has a crop clearance of up to 78 inches and four-wheel independent hydraulic suspension.
• The Guardian's cab has been updated based on farmer feedback, including a redesigned armrest, bringing the new sprayer up to parity with New Holland's tractor lineup in terms of operator experience.
• The cab is designed to be quiet, and the wide air-ride seat provides comfort during long spraying sessions.
• The cab also has steering-wheel-mounted foot pegs, automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-view camera, and optional electric mirrors.
• A heated and vented leather seat, a 12-volt fridge, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic headlights, a cell phone holder, and a 110-volt outlet are all standard features in the luxury cab.
