PM Kisan Maan Dhan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana(PMKMY) is a govt scheme to provide financial protection for old age and Small Marginal Farmers of India. All Small and Marginal Farmers who are having cultivable landholdings of more than 2 hectares falling in the age group between 18 to 40 years, whose names are mentioned as landholders in the land records of States are eligible to get benefits under the Scheme.

All Small and Marginal Farmers who are having cultivable landholdings of more than 2 hectares falling in the age group between 18 to 40 years, whose names are mentioned as landholders in the land records of States are eligible to get benefits under the Scheme.
Under this scheme(PMKMY), the farmers would get a minimum guaranteed pension amount of Rs 3000/- per month after attaining the age of 60 years and if the farmer dies, the spouse of the dead farmer shall be designated to receive 50% of the pension as family pension. but there is a condition in which family pension is applicable only to spouses.
At the maturity period of the scheme, an individual will be designated to get a monthly pension of the amount of Rs. 3000/-. The pension amount helps farmers to fulfill their financial requirements.
The applicants who are in between the age group of 18 to 40 years, will have to make monthly contributions starting from Rs 55 to Rs 200 per month till they reach the age of 60.
Once the farmer reached the age of 60, he/ she can claim the pension amount. Every month a fixed pension amount will get deposited in the pension account.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Scheme is only for Small and Marginal Farmers
- Age should be in between 18 to 40 years
- Cultivable land more than 2 hectares as per land records of the concerned State.

Enrollment in the Scheme can be done through self-registration online or through the Common Service Centers in various states. The enrollment is completely free of cost.
