The Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana Scheme's Objective
The following are the objectives of the Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana
- To make available a variety of farm agricultural equipment and farm machinery to farmers and other implements under the priority sector of agriculture and related activities to assist the state's small and marginal farmers.
- To offset the negative scale economies caused by the high cost of individual ownership
- Improving mechanization in areas with limited farm availability
- To assist in the hiring of various agricultural machinery or implements used in multiple operations.
- More mechanized activities should be expanded during cropping seasons in large areas, particularly in small and marginal holdings.
Eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana
- The farmer needed to be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- A single farmer or a collaborative/group of farmer-cultivators engaged in agriculture and related farm activities.

If a joint farmer application is submitted, any member may apply as an owner farmer.

The farmer applicant shouldn't have a history of bank defaults.
Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana Characteristics And Benefits
The following are the features and benefits of the Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana:
- The agricultural yield will increase as a result of the implementation of this scheme.
- This scheme also ensures that farmers' financial conditions improve, bringing stability to their livelihood.
- It will provide assistance programs, equipment, and support services to small and marginal farmers.
- This scheme extends farm mechanization to small and marginal farmers, as well as to areas where farm power is scarce.
- Krishi Sanyantra Bank would be established by the State Government in collaboration with the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society. Farmers in the state would be able to book in advance to rent farm machinery directly from banks.
- The government will establish Agriculture Machineries Bank (Krishi Sanyanatra Bank) in the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society (PACS) at a cost of Rs.20 lakhs for construction.
- As a credit, the Bihar Government will provide 50% of the total expenditure for each Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society. The remaining 50% will be distributed as contributions/endowments. The Bihar government has already set aside Rs.1692.60 crore for the implementation of this programme.
- Apart from farm machines that help farmers grow and harvest their crops, these banks allow farmers to rent agricultural machinery at reduced rates and perform irrigation-related activities.
- The Agricultural Department of Bihar oversees this scheme.

Application filing process
- The Mukhyamantri Harit Krishi Sanyantra Yojana is available in your local Gram Panchayat or Tehsil. The government will announce the clear online application procedure for this scheme on the official portal. For the convenience of applicants, the state government is more likely to use an online application process.
- Aadhaar card number, email id and paid pending application number, sanction number, fee payment details, source of irrigation and its depth, capacity demanded will be required of farmer applicants. Fill out the applications with the information of the people who want to take advantage of this scheme.
- After completing the forms, the applicant must submit them to the appropriate office. The relevant department will then conduct the verification process and prepare the beneficiary list.
- After successfully submitting the completed application to the relevant office, an acknowledgement number of the application form will be sent to the applicant's registered email IDs for future reference.
- Every tehsil or block will have access to these devices. Any farmer can rent these tools for a set period of time.
- This machine must be returned to the department once the work is completed.
