Free Electricity for Farmers through Tube Wells: A Game-Changer

Refund of Past Payments: Farmers who have paid electricity bills for tube well connections since April will receive a refund of the amount paid. This ensures that those who have contributed to electricity bills in the past are not left unrewarded.

Surcharge Waiver: The one-time settlement scheme extends to outstanding bills as of March 31, 2023, offering farmers the opportunity to benefit from a 100 percent surcharge waiver on their outstanding electricity bills.
