Journey from Corporate to Farming- Know How Bengaluru Farmer Earns Rs 21 Cr with Organic Farming & Empower Women
Here is the remarkable journey of a Bengaluru farmer who achieved crores of earnings while empowering 3000 women through impactful organic farming practices.
Amith Kishan, who once devoted eight long hours each day to the claims department of a Bengaluru insurance bank, paid attention to the pervasive impact of cancer after a client's demise. This experience ignited a conviction and made him determined to transform his food habits.
Drawing inspiration from his grandfather's farming heritage, Amith embarked on an extraordinary expedition.
Despite his limited knowledge of agriculture, Amith reconnected with his ancestral lineage, leading to the establishment of Hebbevu Farms in 2019. Their distinctive strategy involves employing indigenous seeds, utilizing cow dung and urine for fertilization, and cultivating potassium-rich bananas.
Flourishing earthworms expanded their reach to 700 acres, complemented by native cattle for A2-type milk production.
