From Salesman to Entrepreneur: 12th Pass Man Build 2-Crore Empire from Jamun
Rajesh Oza's success story serves as an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs and highlights the immense potential that lies in our country's rich natural resources.
Rajesh Oza, a 36-year-old former salesman who struggled to make ends meet in Mumbai for 14 years, has emerged as a successful entrepreneur in his native village of Jaswantgarh, Rajasthan. Combining his vision and passion for entrepreneurship, Rajesh founded 'Tribalveda,' a company that specializes in producing various products from Jamun, a native berry found in the Aravalli hills.
Growing up in a humble family with limited resources, Rajesh pursued his studies up to the 12th standard. Eventually, he moved to Mumbai in search of better opportunities and worked multiple jobs, ranging from selling products in malls to working at jewelry stores. However, in 2016, during a visit to his tribal village, he witnessed the struggles faced by women who picked Jamun berries seasonally and sold them at low prices to middlemen.
Inspired by the potential of Jamun and its medicinal properties, Rajesh decided to utilize his knowledge of marketing to create a sustainable business model. Despite lacking a formal agricultural background, he consulted professors from the Agriculture University of Udaipur, who supported his idea of making products from Jamun. With determination and hard work, Rajesh spent almost a year learning the process of product development.

However, through persistent marketing efforts, participation in exhibitions, and strategic online presence, Tribalveda's products gained popularity across India. Today, they receive over 200 orders daily through their website and e-commerce platforms.
The demand for the products is highest in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and South India. Tribalveda processes approximately 5,000 kg of berries every day during the season, ensuring a steady supply of products throughout the year.
