Farmers to Receive Up to 50% or 1.2 Lakh Subsidy on 8 BHP to 11 BHP Power Tillers

Subsidy Details:

Power Tiller (8 BHP to 11 BHP): Farmers falling under the categories of SC, ST, Small & Marginal farmers, and Women are eligible for a maximum permissible subsidy of Rs. 1.00 lakh per machine or equipment. This subsidy constitutes 50% of the total cost.

Power Tiller (Above 11 BHP): Similar beneficiary categories are entitled to a higher subsidy of Rs. 1.20 lakh per machine, representing 50% of the total cost.

Pattern of Assistance for Eligible Beneficiaries:

For SC, ST, Small & Marginal farmers, Women, and beneficiaries from the Northeastern states:

Power Tiller (8 BHP to 11 BHP): 50% subsidy, amounting to Rs. 1.00 lakh.

Power Tiller (Above 11 BHP): 50% subsidy, totalling Rs. 1.20 lakh.

For other beneficiaries:

Power Tiller (8 BHP to 11 BHP): 40% subsidy, up to Rs. 0.80 lakh.

Power Tiller (Above 11 BHP): 40% subsidy, up to Rs. 1.00 lakh.
